Dr Susan Gardiner

Dr Susan Gardiner is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Gardiner focuses on delivering personalised medical care, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of treatment tailored to their unique healthcare needs. Her clinical practice encompasses all aspects of general medicine, with a strong emphasis on preventative health and family medicine.

Having completed her initial medical training in the United Kingdom, Dr Gardiner gained extensive clinical experience as a Medical Registrar, which included managing a coronary care unit. This rigorous training provided her with a deep understanding of acute medicine and cardiovascular health. In addition to General Practice, she has a strong clinical interest in family planning and women's health. Her diverse background enables her to manage complex chronic conditions while also providing essential preventative care and health education to her patients.

Dr Gardiner graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of London in 1986. She holds several prestigious postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning (DFFP) and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the UK. Upon relocating to Australia, she became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Throughout her career, Dr Gardiner has been actively involved in medical leadership and education, having served as a Board Member and Deputy Chair for regional primary health networks and general practice organisations, as well as holding academic roles at prominent universities.
