Dr Borchardt graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from The University of Queensland in 2019. Following his medical degree, he completed his training as a Specialist General Practitioner in 2023, achieving Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). Prior to embarking on his career as a Doctor, Dr Borchardt worked as a Teacher, a background that inspires his passion for patient education and preventative health.

Before transitioning into community general practice, Dr Borchardt gained extensive clinical experience working across major metropolitan and paediatric hospitals. During this time, he developed a broad range of skills in diverse medical fields, including emergency medicine, geriatrics, renal medicine, colorectal surgery, mental health, and dermatology.
