Mr Watson graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1984. Following their initial work in Perth, they pursued further training in London for six years. This included valuable clinical and research experience at renowned institutions such as St Marks Hospital and St Bartholomew's Hospital. In 1990, Mr Watson embraced the advancements in laparoscopic surgery while in England and brought this expertise back to Australia in 1996.
