Dr Stephen Rowles

Dr Stephen Rowles is a highly dedicated General Practitioner and Sexual Health Physician who is committed to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and non-judgemental healthcare. With a strong focus on sexual health and general medicine, he offers supportive care tailored to the diverse needs of his patients. Dr Rowles completed his medical training at the University of Melbourne, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1986. To further his expertise in his chosen field, he undertook advanced training and achieved fellowship status as a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine (FAChSHM). These qualifications reflect his deep clinical knowledge and ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of medical practice.

Throughout his career, Dr Rowles has developed a particular interest in the management and prevention of sexually transmissible infections (STIs), as well as the ongoing care and monitoring of individuals living with HIV and Hepatitis B. He is highly skilled in delivering preventative health measures, including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), alongside general health screenings.
