Dr Sophie Sadr

Dr Sophie Sadr is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. She enjoys all aspects of general medicine, working closely with individuals and families to support their long-term health and wellbeing. With a reassuring and professional approach, Dr Sadr is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Throughout her career, Dr Sadr has developed diverse clinical interests, with a particular focus on chronic disease management, mental health, counselling, women's health, and paediatrics. She is also highly skilled in performing skin checks and managing acute injuries. In addition to traditional general practice, she has a strong interest in cosmetic medicine, having undertaken further training in aesthetic medicine to help patients achieve natural-looking results. Furthermore, Dr Sadr is a Registered Medical Acupuncturist, utilising both needle and needle-free laser acupuncture to manage conditions such as musculoskeletal pain, migraines, allergies, and anxiety.

Dr Sadr completed her medical education in Iran, where she obtained her Medical Doctorate in 2009. After relocating to Australia, she earned her Australian Medical Council Certificate and went on to achieve her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2018. To expand her therapeutic offerings, she also completed advanced training through the Australian Medical Acupuncture College. She maintains active professional memberships to ensure her clinical practice remains aligned with the highest standards of modern medicine.
