Dr Soha Sharif

Dr Soha Sharif is a dedicated Dentist who specialises in Paediatric Dentistry, providing compassionate and comprehensive oral healthcare for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and teenagers. With a gentle and reassuring approach, Dr Sharif focuses on creating a positive, stress-free environment for young patients, particularly those who experience dental anxiety or have complex medical and developmental needs. Her clinical practice is centred on supporting the growth and development of children's teeth, preventing decay, and addressing emerging dental issues before they progress.

Recognising that a standard dental chair can be overwhelming for some children, Dr Sharif is highly skilled in utilising advanced behaviour management techniques and sedation options to ensure patient comfort. Her areas of clinical interest include managing traumatic dental injuries, treating chalky teeth, and providing dental care for children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other special healthcare needs. When extensive or complex dental work is required, she is experienced in performing treatments under relative analgesia (happy gas) as well as general anaesthesia in a hospital setting, allowing comprehensive care to be completed in a single, calm visit.

Dr Sharif holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours and has completed extensive postgraduate training specifically focused on dental treatments for children, culminating in a Master of Science in Paediatric Dentistry. She is a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
