Dr Sofia Smirnova

Dr Sofia Smirnova is a highly qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate, and professional healthcare to women of all ages. With a focus on optimising women's health, she offers a reassuring and patient-centred approach to both low-risk and complex high-risk obstetric care, as well as a wide range of gynaecological services. Dr Smirnova obtained her primary medical degree overseas before successfully completing the Australian Medical Council examination to become a fully registered medical professional in Australia in 2001. She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) in 2010. Additionally, she holds a Master of Medicine degree in Reproductive Health and Human Genetics from the University of Sydney.
