Before embarking on his career in medicine, Dr Brown worked as a practising Physiotherapist. Outside of his clinical work, Dr Brown maintains a strong personal interest in physical fitness, regularly spending time in the gym engaging in weightlifting and crossfit training.

Dr Brown holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
