Dr Simon Bass is a highly regarded Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Physician who is dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of respiratory and sleep disorders, helping patients achieve better lung health and improved quality of life. His clinical expertise spans general respiratory medicine and sleep medicine, with a particular focus on advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Dr Bass is highly skilled in performing fibreoptic bronchoscopy, lung ultrasound, and pleural aspiration, as well as the insertion of pleural and indwelling pleural catheters. To ensure the most comprehensive care for complex conditions, he actively participates in multidisciplinary teams for the management of lung cancer and interstitial lung disease.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Bass is deeply committed to medical education and leadership. He serves as a Senior Lecturer at a prominent rural clinical school affiliated with the Australian National University Medical School.
