Dr Shriya Gupta

Dr Shriya Gupta is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a strong focus on achieving positive health outcomes, she works closely with her patients to develop personalised treatment plans and promote long-term wellness. Dr Gupta believes in empowering individuals through education and preventative medicine, ensuring that every patient feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

As a versatile General Practitioner, Dr Gupta enjoys all aspects of General Practice. She has a particular clinical interest in women's health, sexual health, and family planning, including specific procedures such as Implanon insertions and removals. Additionally, she is highly passionate about paediatrics, child development, and preventative health promotion. Her expertise also extends to antenatal shared care, supporting expectant mothers through their pregnancy journeys, as well as managing chronic disease to help patients maintain an optimal quality of life.

Dr Gupta completed her post-graduate medical degree at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney, having previously earned a Bachelor of Science. Committed to continuous professional development, she has also obtained a Diploma in Child Health and a Master of Public Health, which further enrich her clinical approach to paediatric care and community health. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, reflecting her high standards of clinical excellence. Prior to working as a General Practitioner, she gained valuable clinical experience working across major metropolitan hospitals in Melbourne and Sydney, as well as serving within an Aboriginal Medical Service in Newcastle.
