Dr Sheng Low

Dr Sheng Low is a compassionate and dedicated Geriatrician and General Physician who specialises in providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for older individuals. With a reassuring and professional approach, she focuses on addressing the complex and multifaceted health needs that arise with ageing. Dr Low is committed to helping her patients maintain their independence, optimise their quality of life, and navigate the unique challenges associated with geriatric health.

Her clinical practice encompasses a wide range of geriatric services, with a particular focus on cognitive assessments and the management of dementia, including its behavioural and psychological symptoms. Dr Low is also highly skilled in addressing polypharmacy, conducting thorough medication reviews to ensure patient safety and minimise adverse drug interactions. Additionally, she has a strong interest in falls prevention, balance management, and advance care planning, working closely with patients and their families to establish clear, personalised goals for future healthcare.

Dr Low obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Adelaide. She went on to complete her specialist training in Geriatric Medicine in 2014. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, reflecting her high standards of clinical excellence. Alongside her clinical work, she contributes to the education of future medical professionals as a university Teaching Associate.
