Dr. Sheldon Chong

Dr Sheldon Chong is a highly experienced Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon with dual specialty fellowship training in Australia and Malaysia, and a strong background in both adult and paediatric ENT surgery.

He holds MBBS from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Surgery in Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery from the University of Malaya. He is a Fellow of The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery and is actively involved in multiple professional organisations, including The Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery (ASOHNS) and The Australian and New Zealand Rhinologic Society (ANZRS), among others. He is the immediate Past President of The Australian Chinese Medical Association (South Australia Chapter).

Dr Chong’s clinical interests include paediatric and adult ENT disorders, rhinology, and sleep-disordered breathing. He regularly performs procedures such as grommet insertion, adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, and septal/turbinate/sinus surgery, with a particular focus on both functional and surgical management of ENT conditions across all age groups.

Alongside his clinical work, he is also a Clinical Senior Lecturer and is involved in teaching, mentoring, supervision, professional development, and contributing to the wider ENT academic and surgical community.
