About Dr. Sheldon Chong
Dr Sheldon Chong is an experienced Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) surgeon with dual fellowship training in South Africa and Malaysia, and a strong background in both adult and paediatric ENT surgery.
He holds an MBBS from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Otorhinolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery from the University of Malaya. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery and is actively involved in multiple professional organisations, including the Australian Society of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery and the Australian and New Zealand Rhinologic Society, among others.
Dr Chong’s clinical interests include paediatric and adult ENT disorders, rhinology, and sleep-disordered breathing. He regularly performs procedures such as grommet insertion, adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, and sinus surgery, with a particular focus on both functional and surgical management of ENT conditions across all age groups.
Alongside his clinical work, he is also a Clinical Senior Lecturer and is involved in teaching, professional development, and contributing to the wider ENT academic and surgical community.
