Dr Seham Ayad

Dr Seham Ayad is a highly experienced General Practitioner dedicated to helping her patients achieve optimal health and wellbeing. With a career spanning both New Zealand and Australia, she has developed a broad range of expertise across all aspects of family medicine. Dr Ayad is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care, ensuring that individuals and families receive the support they need to lead healthy lives.

Dr Ayad completed her initial medical training in Egypt, where she qualified as a Paediatrician before relocating to New Zealand. She holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and has achieved several prestigious postgraduate qualifications. Dr Ayad is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (FRNZCGP). Additionally, she is a Member of the College of Urgent Care Physicians New Zealand (MCUCNZ), reflecting her advanced training and dedication to maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice.

Throughout her career, Dr Ayad has worked in various hospital settings and general practices, allowing her to refine her skills in both acute and chronic care.
