Dr Sean McIsaac

Dr Sean McIsaac is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care services to the community of Highfields. Originally born in Canada, he brings a diverse background of both rural and urban medical experience to his practice. Known for his friendly, approachable, and highly professional manner, Dr McIsaac is committed to delivering patient-centred care that supports the long-term health and well-being of individuals and families alike.

Dr McIsaac completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, graduating with his medical degree in 2012. Following his graduation, he undertook his residency training at a major hospital in Brisbane. To further his expertise in community medicine, he completed specialised rural General Practice training through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. After completing placements across regional Queensland, he successfully achieved Fellowship status with the college.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr McIsaac has developed key clinical interests in family medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care. His extensive training in regional areas has also given him a strong foundation in rural health and the management of complex, multi-system conditions. He is passionate about preventative medicine, offering essential services such as immunisations, mental health support, and routine health assessments to help patients achieve optimal health outcomes.
