Dr Satya Devineni

Dr Satya Devineni is a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist who provides compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. With a clinical focus that spans across a diverse range of psychiatric conditions, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve optimal mental well-being. Dr Devineni has extensive experience working in both public and private mental health sectors, where she supports individuals facing complex challenges. Her clinical interests include women's and perinatal mental health, youth and young adult mental health, eating disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Dr Devineni completed her medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). She went on to pursue postgraduate training internationally, obtaining a Diploma in Psychological Medicine (DPM) in Ireland and becoming a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPSYCH) in the United Kingdom. Additionally, she completed a Certificate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the University of Manchester. In 2011, she was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP). She is also an active member of the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry and the Faculty of Perinatal Psychiatry.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr Devineni is deeply committed to medical education and professional development. She contributes to the training of future medical professionals by teaching at tertiary institutions, serving as an Examiner for medical students, and supervising Psychiatry Trainees at a regional hospital. She has also contributed her expertise to a regional Medicines Advisory Committee. Dr Devineni's therapeutic approach is collaborative and reassuring, ensuring that each patient receives personalised care tailored to their unique circumstances.
