Dr Sarah Parker

Dr Sarah Parker is a highly dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, high-quality healthcare to her patients. With a patient-centred approach, she focuses on delivering personalised care that prioritises long-term well-being and preventative health. Dr Parker has extensive experience working across diverse clinical settings, including both metropolitan and rural clinics, which has equipped her with a broad and versatile medical skillset.

Dr Parker completed her medical training at the University of Tasmania, graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with First Class Honours in 2006. Demonstrating clinical excellence early in her career, she became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2011, during which she was awarded the prestigious Monty Kent Hughes Memorial Award for achieving the highest clinical examination score in Australia. Additionally, she is qualified as a Designated Aviation Medical Examiner and actively contributes to the medical community as a GP Advisor for professional medical education organisations, having previously held Lead Medical Educator roles.

In her clinical practice, Dr Parker has developed a strong focus on women's health, with particular expertise in supporting patients through the transitions of perimenopause and menopause. She is passionate about empowering women with the knowledge and tailored treatment plans necessary to manage their symptoms and maintain their vitality. Her other key areas of clinical interest include paediatrics, preventative medicine, cosmetic medicine, and aviation medicine.
