Dr Sarah Ashley Bailey

Dr Sarah Ashley Bailey is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a passion for medicine that began in childhood, she focuses on delivering holistic healthcare that considers every aspect of a patient's lifestyle, health history, and social circumstances. Dr Ashley Bailey enjoys the diverse nature of family medicine, welcoming patients of all ages and backgrounds, and values the opportunity to build strong, trusting relationships with those in her care.

Dr Ashley Bailey completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Western Australia, graduating with Honours and receiving a Dean's Letter of Commendation. She gained extensive clinical experience working across various departments at a major tertiary hospital, including emergency medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, neonatology, and psychiatry. She subsequently completed her General Practice Fellowship, achieving outstanding results and receiving an award for the top performance in her state. Committed to continuous professional development, she holds a Professional Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and is an active member of the Australasian Menopause Society.

In her clinical practice, Dr Ashley Bailey specialises in a wide range of general practice services. She has a strong interest in preventative medicine, chronic disease management, and weight management. Her expertise extends to women's health, including pregnancy planning, antenatal care, contraception, and menopause assessments, including Menopause Hormone Therapy (MHT). Additionally, she is a certified Youth Friendly Doctor, recognised with an award from the Australian Medical Association (AMA) for her research and public health campaign focused on adolescent mental health literacy. She is also highly skilled in skin cancer prevention and management, performing thorough skin checks and minor procedures.
