Dr Samuel Wright

Dr Samuel Wright is a highly qualified Cardiologist and Internal Medicine Specialist who provides comprehensive cardiovascular care. With a patient-centred approach, he focuses on diagnosing and managing a wide range of heart conditions, ensuring that each individual receives personalised and reassuring care. Dr Wright is dedicated to helping patients navigate complex cardiovascular issues, offering expert guidance on heart health and preventative strategies.

Dr Wright completed his medical degree (MBBS) and went on to undertake extensive specialist training in Cardiology and Internal Medicine at major teaching hospitals in Melbourne. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). Notably, he is one of a select group of medical professionals with dual specialist training in both Cardiology and Nuclear Medicine, and he holds Level A accreditation in Computed Tomography Coronary Angiography (CTCA).

His clinical expertise spans multi-modality imaging, including cardiac Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and nuclear cardiology. Dr Wright has a particular interest in managing complex medical cases, heart failure, chest pain, and dyspnoea (shortness of breath). Alongside his clinical practice, he is actively involved in medical education and teaching, and has contributed to the advancement of cardiovascular medicine through publications in international peer-reviewed journals.
