Dr Samiya Nusrat

Dr Samiya Nusrat is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. Dr Nusrat earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Rajshahi in Bangladesh, where she initially gained valuable experience in hospital and General Practice settings. After relocating to Australia, she successfully completed the Australian Medical Council examinations and worked across public hospitals in Victoria and Queensland. To further her expertise, she obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Child Health from a South Australian institution. Dr Nusrat is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest standards of general medicine.

Throughout her career, Dr Nusrat has developed a diverse range of clinical interests, with a particular focus on women's and children's health. She is highly skilled in managing chronic diseases, implementing preventive health strategies, and conducting skin cancer assessments.
