Dr Sameer Karve

Dr Sameer Karve is a highly dedicated Cardiologist who is committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate cardiovascular care. With a clinical focus on advanced cardiac imaging and pacing services, he is passionate about delivering high-quality, tertiary-level medical expertise to patients in regional communities. Dr Karve adopts a patient-centred approach, ensuring that individuals receive personalised treatment plans tailored to their unique cardiovascular needs.

Dr Karve began his medical journey by completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney, followed by a postgraduate Doctor of Medicine at Flinders University of South Australia. He then undertook extensive postgraduate training, completing his general medical and advanced training in Cardiology at a major tertiary referral hospital, where he was also actively involved in clinical governance and medical education. To further refine his expertise, he completed an Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at a leading metropolitan hospital and a specialised cardiovascular magnetic resonance centre, followed by an Arrhythmia and Pacing Fellowship at another prominent teaching hospital.

Throughout his career, Dr Karve has gained diverse clinical experience by practising medicine across rural, interstate, and international settings. In addition to his clinical practice, he has contributed to the training of future medical professionals as a Clinical Teaching Fellow. His extensive training allows him to offer specialised care in cardiac electrophysiology, device implantation, and complex cardiac imaging, helping patients manage complex heart conditions with confidence and reassurance.
