Dr Samara Perrott

Dr Samara Perrott is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive healthcare to patients of all ages. With a strong commitment to family medicine, she focuses on delivering personalised and reassuring care. Dr Perrott enjoys the diverse nature of General Practice, establishing long-term relationships with families and supporting them through every stage of life. Her approach is centred on understanding each patient's unique needs and fostering a supportive environment for their healthcare journey.

In her clinical practice, Dr Perrott has a particular interest in paediatric care, supporting the health and development of children from infancy through to young adulthood. She is also highly experienced in providing antenatal care as a GP Shared Care Provider, helping expectant mothers navigate their pregnancy journeys. Additionally, she is passionate about preventative medicine, emotional health, and healthy living promotion, working closely with patients to optimise their overall well-being.

Dr Perrott began her medical career by earning a Bachelor of Nursing, working as a Registered Nurse before pursuing her medical degree. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Flinders University in 2009. Following her graduation, she completed her residency at a major hospital on the Gold Coast, gaining valuable experience in paediatrics and emergency medicine. She subsequently achieved her specialist qualification as a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
