Dr Samantha Hoey

Dr Samantha Hoey is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning multiple medical disciplines, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families within the community. Dr Hoey adopts a holistic approach to medicine, ensuring that each patient receives personalised and reassuring guidance tailored to their unique healthcare needs.

Dr Hoey obtained her primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), graduating with distinction from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom in 2006. To further her clinical expertise, she has completed postgraduate qualifications, including a Diploma in Child Health and a Diploma in East African Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. She is also a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).

Before transitioning to General Practice, Dr Hoey gained clinical experience working in critical care environments, including Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care, and Anaesthetics. This robust foundation in acute care enhances her ability to manage complex medical situations with confidence. Her diverse clinical interests encompass family medicine, with a particular focus on Women's Health, Paediatrics, and Travel Health. Additionally, she is highly skilled in performing minor procedures, including Skin Cancer surgery.
