Dr Sally McDonald

Dr Sally McDonald is a dedicated and highly regarded General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Known for her thoughtful approach to medical problem-solving, she is committed to achieving the best possible health outcomes for individuals and families. Dr McDonald graduated with her medical degree from Monash University in 1980. Following her graduation, she completed three years of hospital training to further refine her clinical skills. Demonstrating a strong commitment to leadership and education within the medical community, she serves as the Chairperson of the South East Health Care Providers Association and is a board member of Palliative Care South East. Her dedication to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals was recognised when she was named GP Supervisor of the Year in 2023.

Throughout her career, Dr McDonald has developed particular clinical interests in palliative care and the management of chronic, complex medical conditions. She is highly experienced in paediatric care, enjoying the opportunity to support the health and wellbeing of children. Additionally, she is accredited to perform non-scalpel vasectomy procedures, offering a safe and low-discomfort treatment option.
