Dr Sally Cohen

Dr Sally Cohen is a highly dedicated Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based care to women at all stages of life. With a focus on delivering high-quality and accessible healthcare, she supports patients through various gynaecological concerns, from adolescence through to menopause. Dr Cohen is known for her holistic approach, ensuring that each patient's unique needs, personal circumstances, and treatment options are thoroughly considered.

As a skilled Laparoscopic Surgeon, Dr Cohen has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques, which offer patients optimal recovery times and outcomes. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of areas, including paediatric and adolescent gynaecology, and the management of endometriosis, pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, ovarian cysts, and fibroids. She is also highly experienced in performing colposcopy and LLETZ procedures, managing early pregnancy complications, and providing both general and high-risk obstetric care.

Dr Cohen completed her medical training at the University of Sydney, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2009. Prior to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland. Following her medical degree, she undertook specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology, followed by a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. Additionally, she holds professional memberships with the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery Society and the Australasian Menopausal Society.
