Dr Saima Aftab

Dr Saima Aftab is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary healthcare. With a patient-centred approach, she is committed to delivering high-quality, empathetic care tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr Aftab focuses on fostering trusted, long-term relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel supported and informed throughout their healthcare journey.

Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of general practice services, with a particular focus on family medicine, women's health, and child and adolescent health. Dr Aftab is highly skilled in managing chronic diseases, including asthma, diabetes, hypertension, and migraines, helping patients achieve better health outcomes through personalised management plans. Additionally, she provides expert care in mental health, skin diseases, and preventative medicine, promoting overall well-being within the community.

Dr Aftab completed her medical education at Dow University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1997. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence, she obtained her Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (International) in 2010. She was subsequently awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016. To further her expertise in reproductive and sexual health, she also completed the Family Planning Alliance Australia National Certificate in 2019.
