Dr Saghi Elmi

Dr Saghi Elmi is a General Paediatrician with over 20 years of clinical experience in Australia and overseas. She holds a Doctorate in Medicine, a Specialist Degree in General Paediatrics, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

She has a subspecialty qualification in Paediatric Intensive Care (PICU) obtained overseas. She also holds a Diploma in Paediatric Health from the University of Sydney and a Diploma in Diabetes obtained in the UK.

Dr Elmi is currently a Staff Specialist at a regional public hospital in Victoria. She also works in a private regional clinic and at a tertiary paediatric centre in Melbourne, with previous experience in metropolitan hospitals in Sydney and regional healthcare services.

Her clinical work focuses on general paediatrics, covering a broad range of child health and developmental conditions. She works collaboratively with general practitioners and allied health professionals in multidisciplinary care settings.

She is involved in teaching and supervision of junior doctors and has contributed to publications in general paediatrics. She is a member of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and related paediatric professional organisations.
