Dr. Sachin Gurung

Dr. Sachin Gurung is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred healthcare to individuals of all ages. With a holistic approach to medicine, he focuses on delivering personalised support alongside high-quality clinical care. Dr. Gurung believes in building strong, trusting relationships with his patients, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr. Gurung completed his medical education at Kathmandu University, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2010. He went on to pursue specialist training in general practice, qualifying as a General Practitioner and becoming a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP) in the United Kingdom in 2019. Demonstrating his commitment to clinical excellence, he is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). To further enhance his clinical skills, Dr. Gurung obtained a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) in the United Kingdom, as well as a Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine.

In his daily practice, Dr. Gurung manages a diverse range of medical conditions, with particular expertise in paediatric care, preventive medicine, and skin cancer care. He is highly skilled in performing skin checks, detecting skin cancers, and providing local treatments such as cryotherapy and the excision of skin lesions. Additionally, Dr. Gurung offers specialised procedures including the insertion and removal of contraceptive implants (Implanon) and iron infusions for patients experiencing iron deficiency. His clinical interests also extend to travel medicine, and he holds certifications to administer vaccinations for Yellow Fever and Q Fever.
