Dr Rupert Ouyang

Dr Rupert Ouyang is a highly qualified Consultant Urologist and Urological Surgeon based in North Gosford, Australia. With a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, he provides comprehensive management for a wide range of general urological conditions. Dr Ouyang is particularly dedicated to promoting men's health and works closely within multidisciplinary teams to coordinate personalised care pathways for his patients.

His primary clinical focus lies in the treatment of urological cancers, including prostate, kidney, and bladder cancers. Dr Ouyang possesses extensive expertise in performing complex surgical procedures, such as radical prostatectomy, laparoscopic nephrectomy, and cystectomy. Additionally, he has a highly specialised interest in reconstructive urology, specifically performing urethroplasty with buccal mucosa grafts to correct urethral strictures resulting from acquired conditions or previous congenital hypospadias repairs.

Dr Ouyang obtained his Doctor of Medicine in 1990. He completed his initial urological training in Taiwan before relocating to Australasia, where he undertook further advanced training across several major cities, including Wellington, Sydney, Canberra, and Perth. He qualified as a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in 2006. Dr Ouyang is an active member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand (USANZ) and contributes to the education of future medical professionals as a Conjoint Senior Lecturer.
