Dr Roland Owen

Dr Roland Owen is a dedicated and highly experienced General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. With a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred healthcare, he offers a broad range of services, including thorough consultations, accurate diagnoses, and personalised ongoing care. Dr Owen is passionate about supporting the health and well-being of his local community, ensuring that every individual receives reassuring and professional medical attention.

Throughout his career, Dr Owen has developed several key areas of clinical interest. He has a particular focus on skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, including skin cancer surgery, having spent significant time working as a Surgical Assistant alongside a General Surgeon. In addition to his surgical expertise, Dr Owen is highly skilled in geriatric medicine, chronic disease management, and healthcare advocacy. He is also actively involved in medical education, contributing his knowledge to the training of GP Registrars and supporting regional healthcare development.

Dr Owen obtained his medical degree from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1998. He completed his initial medical training in Cardiff and the Midlands before undertaking his General Practice training in the Bristol area of England. Demonstrating his commitment to professional excellence, Dr Owen earned his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2005.
