Dr Robin Williams

Dr Robin Williams is a dedicated General Practitioner who has committed his career to providing comprehensive primary healthcare to rural and regional communities in New South Wales. With a deep belief in healthcare equity, he focuses on delivering patient-centric medical services that support the well-being of local families and the vital rural workforce. His approach combines clinical excellence with a compassionate understanding of the unique challenges faced by regional patients.

Dr Williams completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of London. Following this, he undertook his postgraduate General Practice training in his native North Wales. After working as a rural General Practitioner in the United Kingdom, he relocated to Australia, where he has continued to serve regional communities as both a General Practitioner and a Visiting Medical Officer.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Williams is highly active in medical governance and healthcare advocacy. He has held several prominent leadership positions, including serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Western NSW Primary Health Network and the Chair of the Western NSW Local Health District. Through these roles, he has worked tirelessly to improve healthcare access, foster innovation in rural medicine, and promote integrated models of care that connect primary and hospital services.
