Dr. Robert McLeod

Dr. Robert McLeod, residing in the Illawarra with his family, is a Specialist General Paediatrician. Holding VMO appointments at Wollongong Private Hospital and Wollongong Public Hospital, he conducts private consultations from Dr. Jeff Brereton’s rooms on 93 Smith Street, Wollongong, alongside offering telehealth clinics through Cub Care.

Having completed his training at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick, and obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney, Dr. McLeod boasts a diverse background, having worked across various locations in New South Wales and at The Royal Darwin Hospital in the Northern Territory.

As the Co-Founder of Taste Bubs (www.tastebubs.com.au), Australia’s pioneering allergen introduction product, Dr. McLeod embarked on this venture to streamline allergen introduction for parents, driven by his personal experiences and a mission to counter the rising trend of food allergies in Australia, where rates are amongst the highest globally.

Dr. McLeod's professional journey led him to pursue General Paediatrics, finding fulfilment in the diverse range of consultations it offers. He finds particular joy in attending to children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents.
