Dr Robert Arthur McCubbin

Dr Robert Arthur McCubbin is a compassionate and thorough General Practitioner who is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based medical care to patients of all generations. He is highly regarded for his patient-centred approach, taking the time to understand the individual behind the symptoms to provide truly personalised healthcare. From newborns to elderly patients, Dr McCubbin is committed to supporting his patients through every stage of their health journey.

Dr McCubbin completed his Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne in 2013, followed by his Doctor of Medicine at the same institution in 2017. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, having achieved this qualification in 2023. To further support his clinical focus, he completed a Certificate of Women's Health with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2021, and successfully undertook the Sydney Child Health Programme in 2023.

Before transitioning to private practice, Dr McCubbin accumulated broad clinical experience working within major metropolitan health networks and specialised women's and children's hospitals. His clinical interests are diverse, with particular expertise in paediatric medicine, women's health, and skin cancer medicine. He performs comprehensive head-to-toe skin checks utilising dermoscopy to aid in the early detection of skin cancers. Dr McCubbin is also proficient in a variety of clinical procedures, including skin biopsies, excisions, cryotherapy, contraceptive implant insertions and removals, and iron infusions.
