Dr Ritesh Bhandarkar

Dr Ritesh Bhandarkar is an experienced Senior Consultant Psychiatrist who is dedicated to providing evidence-based, recovery-focused, and holistic care to his patients. He specialises in diagnosing and managing a wide range of mental health conditions, working collaboratively with individuals to support their long-term well-being. Throughout his career, Dr Bhandarkar has held various senior clinical and academic positions. He has worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist within public health services and specialised brain injury rehabilitation facilities in the United Kingdom before relocating to Australia. Currently, he holds a public hospital appointment within an adult mental health programme and is actively involved in training Medical Students and psychiatric Registrars as an Adjunct Lecturer at a prominent university. His extensive background in clinical practice and medical education ensures his patients receive care informed by the latest advancements in psychiatric medicine.

Dr Bhandarkar obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and completed his higher specialist training in general adult psychiatry, with a specific endorsement in rehabilitation psychiatry, through a prestigious training scheme in London. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in the United Kingdom (FRCPsych) and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP).
