Dr. Rick Bond

Dr. Rick Bond is a highly accomplished Vascular Surgeon and General Surgeon who provides comprehensive care for patients experiencing a wide range of circulatory and vascular conditions. With a clinical philosophy centred on delivering tailored, unbiased advice, Dr. Bond combines traditional open surgical techniques with modern, minimally invasive endovascular therapies. His patient-focused approach ensures that each individual receives a treatment plan specifically designed to achieve the best possible health outcomes.

Dr. Bond began his medical training in London and completed his specialist Consultant training in England in 2004. He was awarded a PhD from Oxford University for his dedicated research into the outcomes of carotid surgery. After relocating to Australia, he successfully completed the Australian vascular surgical examinations. Dr. Bond is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and maintains his professional membership with the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain. He also serves as an Examiner for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and holds a prominent academic role as an Associate Professor.

Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Bond has held significant leadership positions, including serving as a State Director for Vascular Surgery. His clinical expertise spans all aspects of vascular disease, with a particular interest in advanced treatments for varicose veins, spider veins, and arterial diseases such as aneurysms and carotid artery conditions. Additionally, he is highly skilled in performing renal access surgery, including fistula creation and peritoneal dialysis catheter insertion, as well as managing hyperhidrosis through both surgical and non-surgical methods. Dr. Bond remains at the forefront of his field by pioneering new techniques and contributing to medical publications to improve patient care.
