Dr Richard Ward is a compassionate and highly skilled General Practitioner who specialises in comprehensive medical care for the Hobart community. Dr Ward completed his medical training at the University of Tasmania, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2009. He subsequently undertook extensive clinical training in Hobart, working in emergency medicine before obtaining his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. As a Fellow of the college, he remains committed to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence and continuing professional development.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Ward has developed key clinical interests in Travel Medicine and acute care. His extensive experience in emergency departments across Tasmania and interstate has equipped him with the skills necessary to manage urgent medical situations with confidence and precision.
