Dr Richard James Taylor

Dr Richard James Taylor is a highly regarded General Practitioner who provides comprehensive primary care with a strong focus on regional health. As a dedicated Medical Practitioner, he has built a reputation for delivering patient-centred care that spans general medicine, obstetrics, and anaesthetics. With advanced qualifications in both anaesthetics and obstetrics, Dr Taylor is a skilled procedural General Practitioner. Dr Taylor began his academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy before pursuing postgraduate medical studies. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Notre Dame Australia. Following his graduation, he completed his internship and residency in Perth, alongside specialised training in General Practice anaesthetics and General Practice obstetrics. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and holds a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG). Additionally, he is an active member of the Australian Medical Association and serves as a Medical Educator, mentoring the next generation of General Practitioners.
