Dr Richard Hayter is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, working closely with individuals and families to support their long-term health and well-being. While highly skilled in all areas of family medicine, Dr Hayter has a particular clinical interest in men's health and mental health support. Dr Hayter began his academic journey by completing a Bachelor of Pharmacy, before obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from The University of Queensland, qualifying in 2008. He completed his internship and worked as a Resident Medical Officer at a regional hospital in Queensland before transitioning into general practice. In 2015, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), reflecting his high standards of clinical expertise and ongoing commitment to the medical profession.
