Dr Rhian Chatfield

Dr Rhian Chatfield is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Born into a family of Medical Practitioners, she developed a passion for helping others from an early age. Known for her warm, reassuring manner and meticulous attention to detail, Dr Chatfield strives to go the extra mile to support her patients, ensuring they feel heard and well supported throughout their healthcare journey.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Chatfield has developed advanced skills in the management of chronic and complex illnesses. Her practice encompasses a wide spectrum of family medicine, including women's health, fertility, and antenatal care. She is also highly experienced in mental health support, eating disorders, and weight management, as well as aged care and preventative health screening. Additionally, she provides specialised care for Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) patients, occupational health, and WorkCover cases, ensuring a holistic approach to patient wellbeing.

Dr Chatfield completed her medical education at the University of Cardiff in Wales, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) in 2009. Prior to relocating to Australia, she gained valuable hospital experience across several disciplines, including obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, intensive care, cardiology, general medicine, and care of the elderly. She holds professional memberships and fellowships with both the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
