Dr Rehan Filip Sequeira

Dr Rehan Filip Sequeira is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is deeply committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. He is highly passionate about health promotion and disease prevention, viewing every clinical encounter as a valuable opportunity to empower his patients. By encouraging learning, reflection, and a strong focus on healthy living, Dr Sequeira works collaboratively with individuals to help them achieve their long-term wellness goals.

Dr Sequeira completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Auckland, New Zealand, before relocating to Australia, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2016. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Prior to entering General Practice, he gained extensive clinical experience working across a wide variety of medical and surgical specialities as a Junior Doctor at several major metropolitan hospitals.

With a broad scope of practice, Dr Sequeira enjoys all aspects of family medicine. He has developed particular clinical interests in chronic disease management, including cardiovascular medicine, diabetes care, and respiratory medicine such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Additionally, he is highly skilled in performing iron infusions, including ultrasound-guided cannulation, and microscopic ear suction for ear, nose, and throat conditions. His practice also encompasses men's health, antenatal and pregnancy care, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health, and preventative health checks, alongside occupational health services such as pre-employment medicals and work-related injury management.
