Dr Ravi Talluri

Dr Ravi Talluri is a highly dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist who provides compassionate, patient-centred mental health care. With a clinical approach focused on understanding each individual's unique circumstances, he specialises in diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions. Dr Talluri is committed to delivering evidence-based treatments that support long-term recovery and improve the overall quality of life for his patients. Dr Talluri completed the majority of his medical and psychiatric education in India, where he obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Diploma in Psychological Medicine (DPM), and Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Psychiatry. During his early career, he worked extensively as a Psychiatrist in India and actively collaborated on community psychiatry research funded by the World Health Organisation (WHO). Upon moving to Australia, he attained fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP), reflecting his adherence to the highest standards of psychiatric practice.

Throughout his career, Dr Talluri has developed diverse clinical interests spanning adult psychiatry, aged psychiatry, and trans-cultural psychiatry. He has extensive experience in managing complex mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), particularly within conflict situation syndromes. Additionally, his clinical focus extends to addiction medicine, personality disorders, and rehabilitation, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive support tailored to their specific mental health journeys.
