Dr Ratna Chatterji

Dr Ratna Chatterji is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a diverse clinical background spanning multiple countries, including India and the United Kingdom, she brings a wealth of international experience to her practice in Geelong. Dr Chatterji is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare tailored to the unique needs of each individual, ensuring a reassuring and supportive environment for all her patients.

Throughout her career, Dr Chatterji has developed a strong focus on key areas of primary care. She has a particular interest in women's health and chronic disease management, with a specific focus on diabetes care. Her experience also extends to working with diverse populations, including providing essential healthcare services to Aboriginal communities. This broad clinical exposure allows her to address complex health needs with empathy and expertise.

Dr Chatterji completed her initial medical training, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and a Doctor of Medicine (MD). She holds the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate and completed her postgraduate training to obtain a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2020. Committed to continuous professional development, she also holds a Diploma in Diabetes Management in Primary Care from Teesside University.
