Dr Ranganath Rattehalli

Dr Ranganath Rattehalli is a highly dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive mental health care to adult patients. With a compassionate and collaborative approach, he focuses on helping individuals understand their conditions to achieve meaningful recovery. Dr Rattehalli specialises in treating a wide range of complex psychiatric disorders, utilising a balanced combination of evidence-based psychological approaches and pharmacological treatments tailored to each patient's unique needs.

His clinical expertise spans across several key areas of mental health, with a particular interest in mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder, as well as anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Additionally, Dr Rattehalli provides expert care for individuals experiencing attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), psychosis, schizophrenia, complex trauma, and substance abuse. Dr Rattehalli obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Bangalore University, India, in 2000. He subsequently completed his specialist Psychiatry training in the United Kingdom before relocating to Australia. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and an accredited member of the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry. Furthermore, he is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) in London.
