Dr Rajesh Kumar

Dr Rajesh Kumar is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive healthcare to individuals and families. With a patient-centred approach, Dr Kumar prioritises the duty of care and works closely with his patients to help them achieve their personal health goals. He enjoys treating a diverse range of patients and addresses a wide variety of medical concerns with a friendly and reassuring manner.

Before transitioning into General Practice, Dr Kumar gained extensive clinical experience as a Medical Registrar at a teaching hospital, where he focused on internal medicine. His medical career has taken him across various regions, including Townsville and Brisbane, before he settled on the Gold Coast. This broad clinical background enables him to manage complex health conditions and deliver thorough, evidence-based medical care.

Dr Kumar completed his primary medical education at the Fiji School of Medicine, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1991. He furthered his clinical training by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Internal Medicine. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of general practice in Australia, he successfully completed his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2009. Dr Kumar actively participates in continuing professional development to ensure his clinical knowledge remains up to date.
