Dr Abrams graduated from Monash University Medical School in 1980. Following her graduation, she gained extensive clinical experience across medical, surgical, paediatric, and emergency medicine departments before transitioning to General Practice in 1987. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep understanding of community medicine, with a focus on migrant and occupational health.

With a broad range of clinical interests, Dr Abrams is particularly passionate about preventative health and psychological medicine.
