Dr Rachel Jefferies

Dr Rachel Jefferies is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a broad clinical background spanning multiple medical disciplines, she is committed to supporting the health and well-being of individuals and families within the community. Her reassuring and professional approach ensures that patients feel heard and supported throughout their healthcare journey.

Dr Jefferies obtained her primary medical qualification, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, from Cardiff University in 2008. Demonstrating a strong commitment to postgraduate education, she went on to earn a Diploma in Child Health. After relocating to Australia, she completed her specialist General Practice training and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2015.

Throughout her career, Dr Jefferies has gained diverse clinical experience across both Australia and the United Kingdom. Prior to focusing on family medicine, she worked within several surgical specialties and spent a significant period working in Emergency Medicine. This robust background equips her with the skills to manage acute presentations and complex clinical scenarios. Dr Jefferies has a particular interest in skin cancer medicine, regularly conducting comprehensive skin checks and managing skin conditions, alongside her dedication to paediatric care and general family medicine.
