Dr Raajiv Maher

Dr Raajiv Maher is a dedicated General Practitioner who adopts a holistic approach to patient care. He believes in treating the whole person by considering physical, emotional, and social factors rather than focusing solely on the symptoms of an illness. Dr Maher thoroughly enjoys family medicine and places a strong emphasis on building meaningful, long-term relationships with his patients to provide personalised and reassuring care.

In addition to general family medicine, Dr Maher has developed a strong clinical interest in Dermatology, General Paediatrics, and Musculoskeletal Medicine. He holds a Diploma in Clinical Dermatology with Merit from Queen Mary University of London. His expertise in Musculoskeletal Medicine is supported by his experience working in Orthopaedics and General Surgery following the completion of his General Practice training. He has also completed the Royal College of General Practitioners joint injection course, enabling him to perform specialised procedures such as joint injections, biopsies, and the excision of skin lesions.

Dr Maher was born and raised in England, where he completed both his undergraduate and postgraduate medical training. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery and went on to obtain his Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in the United Kingdom. Upon relocating to Australia, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence in General Practice.
