Dr Prasanna Pathmaperuma

Dr Prasanna Pathmaperuma is a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care. With a reassuring and professional approach, he supports patients of all ages through various stages of their health journeys. Dr Pathmaperuma obtained his primary medical degree, a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), from the Medical Faculty of Colombo in 1996. After relocating to Australia, he earned his certification from the Australian Medical Council (AMC) in 2013. Demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of general practice, he was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2020. His diverse clinical background also includes valuable experience working as a military Medical Officer, a General Practitioner, and a Medical Officer within cardiac intensive care units.

In his daily practice, Dr Pathmaperuma manages a wide array of clinical cases with a high level of capability. He has a particular interest in dermatological care, specialising in the treatment of various skin conditions and the performance of minor skin surgeries.
