Dr Prasad Challa

Dr Prasad Challa is a highly experienced cardiology physician with a distinguished career spanning clinical practice, leadership, and medical education. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Andhra University, India, in 1982, before advancing his training with an MD in Medicine and a DM in Cardiology from PGIMER Chandigarh. In recognition of his expertise, he was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2007.

Dr Challa has held key leadership roles, including leading the Cardiac Services department at Logan Hospital, and has also served as a Visiting Medical Officer at The Princess Alexandra hopsital and The Prince Charles Hospital. His clinical interests are broad and include echocardiography, heart failure management, acute cardiac care, vascular medicine, and the treatment of cardiovascular disease.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr Challa is actively involved in medical education and research. He is passionate about mentoring medical students and junior doctors, supporting the development of future healthcare professionals.
