Dr Pradip Shinde

Dr Pradip Shinde is a highly dedicated Consultant Adult Psychiatrist who provides compassionate, patient-centred care. He adopts a holistic biopsychosocial approach to mental health, ensuring that each patient's biological, psychological, and social factors are thoroughly considered during assessment and treatment. Dr Shinde is committed to delivering personalised care that supports individuals on their journey toward mental well-being and recovery.

Throughout his career, Dr Shinde has developed extensive expertise in managing a wide range of complex mental health conditions. His primary areas of clinical interest include adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) assessments and management, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders. He is also highly skilled in treating trauma and stress-related disorders, psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia, and bipolar affective disorders. Additionally, he has a strong interest in multicultural psychiatry, allowing him to provide culturally sensitive care to patients from diverse backgrounds.

Dr Shinde completed his initial medical education in India, obtaining his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2006. He went on to complete postgraduate psychiatric training both in India and Australia, earning a Diploma in Psychological Medicine and a Diplomate of National Board in Psychiatry. To further his professional standing, he completed advanced specialist training in Australia and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. He is also actively involved in teaching psychiatry trainees and contributing to clinical research.
