Dr Pradeep Singhal

Dr Pradeep Singhal is a highly qualified Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive mental health care for adults and older adolescents. With a career spanning clinical practice in both the United Kingdom and Australia, Dr Singhal has developed a deep expertise in diagnosing and managing a diverse range of psychiatric conditions. He is dedicated to delivering patient-centred care, helping individuals navigate complex mental health challenges to improve their overall well-being.

In his clinical practice, Dr Singhal focuses on general adult psychiatry, with a particular interest in supporting adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). He recognises that ADHD is often underdiagnosed or misdiagnosed in adulthood, and he is passionate about helping patients overcome the barriers this condition can present. His broad clinical expertise also encompasses the treatment of anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychosis, schizophrenia, and alcohol misuse disorders. Dr Singhal utilises evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy and supportive psychotherapy, to tailor treatment plans to each patient's unique needs.

Dr Singhal completed his medical training and initial psychiatric specialisation in the United Kingdom, where he worked as a Senior Consultant Psychiatrist before relocating to Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), a Diploma in Psychological Medicine (DPM) from London, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (FRCPsych) in the UK. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) and an accredited member of the Faculty of Adult Psychiatry.
